Dr. Sonia S. Leziy
DDS, Dipl Perio, FCDS(BC), FRCD(C)

Dr. Sonia Leziy received her dental degree from McGill University in 1989 and subsequently completed a general practice residency program at the Jewish General Hospital in Montreal. Her post-graduate degree in periodontics was completed at the University of British Columbia in 1993
Dr. Leziy lectures internationally on the subject of implants and advanced esthetics/periodontal plastic surgery, and has been recognized among the top 100 clinicians in continuing education by Dentistry Today in 2007-2017. She was selected by her peers and by industry representatives as a Lucy Hobbs Award Winner in 2013- in the mentorship category. She was the program chair for the 2013 American Academy of Esthetic Dentistry meeting held in Santa Barbara California. She was the recipient of the 2014 Saul Schluger Award. Dr. Leziy is the Executive VP of clinical affairs for the Seattle Study Club Organization.
Family is very important to Dr. Leziy. As loving wife and proud mother of two grown children and a four grandchildren, spending time with her family brings much enjoyment. Sonia enjoys gardening, fishing, mountain/road-biking and skiing.
Dr. Brahm Miller
MSc, DDS, Dipl Pros, FCDS(BC), FRCD(C)
Brahm Miller received his dental degree from McGill University (1990), completed a GPR at the Jewish General Hospital in Montreal, followed by post-graduate studies in prosthodontics at the Medical College of Virginia in 1995. He has been practicing in North Vancouver since 1995.
Dr. Miller lectures internationally on the subject of implant-based rehabilitation, ceramics and tissue development through provisionalization. He has been recognized among the top 100 clinicians in continuing education by Dentistry Today in 2007 through 2017.
Dr Miller is an associate clinical professor and sessional lecturer at the University of British Columbia and co-mentors the highly recognized VIP study club (a Seattle Study Club affiliate). Dr Miller is a member of the editorial boards of the Journal Spectrum Dialogue, the Journal of Esthetic Dentistry and the Journal of Periodontics and Restorative dentistry. He is published on the subjects of ceramics and advanced implant esthetics and restoration along with a contribution (2008) with worldwide authorities in the text Interdisciplinary Treatment Planning, edited by Dr. Michael Cohen and published by Quintessence Publishing Inc. Along with Dr. Leziy, he subsequently contributed a chapter in a follow-up book, Interdisciplinary Treatment Planning, Volume II (2011). He has been involved in implant and prosthetic clinical trials with Nobel Biocare and BioHorizons dental implant systems.
Dr. Miller enjoys spending quality time with his family, fishing, mountain and road-biking and an occasional glass of fine Bordeaux.
Dr. Priscilla Walsh
MSc, DDS, Dip. Perio, FCDS(BC), FRCD(C)
Dr. Priscilla Walsh received her dental degree from the University of Alberta in 1996 and practiced as a general dentist in Alberta before starting post graduate studies at the University of British Columbia.
In the year 2000 she received her post-graduate diploma in periodontics in addition to a Master of Science degree from the University of British Columbia.
She has received numerous awards in the field of dentistry as well as the Kathleen McAnulty scholarship which recognizes excellence in periodontics. Dr. Walsh is a Fellow and examiner in periodontics for the Royal College of Dentists of Canada, a fellow of the College of Dental Surgeons of British Columbia, a member of the Canadian Dental Association and the American Academy of Periodontology. She is past -president of the British Columbia Society of Periodontists and is currently an active member. Dr. Walsh has been a clinical instructor in the division of Periodontics at the University of British Columbia from 1997-2005 and 2015-present.
Dr. Walsh is well-published in the field of gingival disorders as well as systemic diseases associated with periodontal disease. She is a mentor for the VIP Vancouver Seattle Study Club which focuses on implant and esthetic dentistry. Dr Walsh has worked as a periodontist with Imperio Group Dental Health Specialists since 2001.

Nico has been working as a Dental Technician since 1996. He qualified in 1995 with a 4 year National Higher Diploma in Dental Technology from Technikon Pretoria, South Africa. He worked for 5 years in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and 3 years in London, UK where he gained international experience as well as attended numerous advanced courses to enhance his skills and ability.
In 2006 he immigrated to Canada and completed the RDT exam with the College of Dental Technicians of BC. Along with Klaas, he opened Pro-Esthetics Dental Laboratory in 2009 specializing in implant restorations and high end esthetic cases. He enjoys being involved in further education and lecturing to small groups of dentists and technicians.
Klaas van der Walt

Chris has been actively practicing dental assisting for 16 years. Starting her career off in Alberta she made the move out to Vancouver in 2001. Along the way she has gained extensive experience in private practice which lead her to expand her skills in her current position. For the past 8 years she has been a member of the Imperio dental team. Working with Dr. Sonia Leziy as her right hand surgical assistant/treatment facilitator. As well she shares the role as the VIP Study Club co-ordinator.
She is passionate about providing the best care and quality treatment for all patients. Our office environment is where we strive to provide the optimal dental treatments with the best techniques and medical advancements. Chris’s passion and enthusiasm makes her a one of the lucky few that love her job and the people she gets to work with everyday.
Outside of the office Chris loves to spend time with her family, traveling, cooking, a good glass of wine and a walk with her lab Max are the things she loves most.

Stacey graduated from the dental assisting program at VCC in 1991 and has actively been practicing in restorative dentistry since then. She started her career in Kamloops, BC and moved to Vancouver in 1998 where she continued to expand her skills in a restorative driven practice. Stacey joined the Imperio Team in 2002 and has been working with Dr. Brahm Miller as his main assistant/treatment facilitator for the last 15 years. She has undergone extensive surgical training in the last year.
Stacey is a passionate, caring individual who dedicates herself fully to caring for patient needs.
Outside the office, Stacey spends time with family and friends. She loves to cook, hike and practice yoga!
Sarah graduated from the Dental Administration program at Kwantlen College in 2003. She has been privileged to have developed and expanded her skill set working in a variety of general dental practices; from small single provider offices to very large multi-provider practices. This diversity has afforded Sarah the opportunity to become very comfortable and proficient with all aspects of the administration of a dental practice.
In July of 2012 Sarah joined the Imperio group in the position of Office Manager. In addition to her administration duties, Sarah liaises with Chris in the coordination of the highly sought after Imperio Plus teaching events.
