This module will emphasize the importance of screw-retained provisional restorations to define tissue form supracrestally. The effect on facial tissue form and papilla height will be illustrated. The benefits of provisionalization at the time of surgery will be underscored. Key points that will be addressed include:

Provisional restoration design;

Material options;

When can this be done chair-side by the surgical team member and when should this be done with the restoring dentist and lab technician.
